The Eagles are an iconic American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. They became one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s, blending rock with country influences to create a distinctive sound. The original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey (guitar, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitar, vocals), and Randy Meisner (bass guitar, vocals)
Band Members:
Glenn Frey: Born in Detroit, Michigan, Frey was a founding member who played guitar and provided vocals. He co-wrote many of the band's hits. Frey passed away in 2016.
Don Henley: Hailing from Texas, Henley played drums and sang lead vocals on several major songs. He continues to be active in the music industry.
Bernie Leadon: Leadon contributed guitar and vocals, bringing a strong country influence to the band's early sound. He departed the group in 1975.
Randy Meisner: As the bassist and vocalist, Meisner's high harmonies were a signature of the band's sound. He left the band in 1977 and passed away in 2023
Joe Walsh: Joining in 1975, Walsh added a rock edge with his guitar skills and distinctive style.
Don Felder: Felder joined in 1974 as a guitarist and was instrumental in developing the band's harder rock sound. He was dismissed from the band in 2001.
Timothy B. Schmit: Replacing Meisner in 1977, Schmit played bass and provided vocals, continuing with the band to the present day.

Eagles (1972): Their debut album featured hits like "Take It Easy" and "Witchy Woman."
Desperado (1973): This concept album included the title track "Desperado."
On the Border (1974): Featured "Best of My Love," which became their first number-one single.
One of These Nights (1975): The title track reached number one, and the album included hits like "Lyin' Eyes" and "Take It to the Limit.
Hotel California (1976): Their most acclaimed album, featuring the iconic title track "Hotel California" and "New Kid in Town," both of which reached number one on the charts.
The Long Run (1979): Included the number-one hit "Heartache Tonight.
Long Road Out of Eden (2007): Marked their return after a long hiatus, debuting at number one on the charts.
